Segment and Geographic Information Segments and Geographic InformationThe Company determines its operating segments based on how the chief operating decision maker (“CODM”) manages the business, allocates resources, makes operating decisions and evaluates operating performance. The Company’s Chief Executive Officer is the Company’s CODM. The Company’s operating segments may not be comparable to similar companies in similar industries. The Company has determined it operates in one reportable segment.
Revenues are attributed to each geographic region based on the location of the HireRight entity that has contracted for the services that result in the revenues. The following table summarizes the Company’s revenues by region:
