HireRight names Brian Pierson Chief Operations Officer

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HireRight, a leader in employment screening solutions, today announced it has named Brian Pierson its chief operations officer. Leveraging more than 20 years of global operations, information technology, manufacturing, strategy, and management experience, Pierson will lead worldwide service delivery functions across the complete HireRight solution offering.

Pierson joins HireRight with extensive operational and executive leadership experience, most recently with NASDAQ-listed technology firm FEI Company, where he was senior vice president, global operations.

Prior to FEI, Pierson was vice president of sales operations at Xilinx where he was responsible for process improvements resulting in significant increases in conversion rates. Pierson also held leadership positions at Applied Materials, where he served as head of operations for their $2 billion service division and led a $300 million enterprise resource planning transformation program. He also served for 11 years in the United States Army as an officer in a variety of assignments including the Desert Storm operation and educational instruction at West Point.

Pierson holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif. and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
