HireRight Names Dan Shoemaker Vice President of International Business

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HireRight, Inc., a leader in on-demand employment background and drug screening, has appointed Dan Shoemaker as vice president of international business. Mr. Shoemaker will report to HireRight president and CEO Mike Petrullo.

As vice president of international business, Mr. Shoemaker will be responsible for market strategy and development, operations, and delivery of HireRight solutions outside of North America. His professional background includes serving as 2009-2010 chairman and current board member for the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). He joins HireRight from Altegrity company US Investigations Services (USIS), where he served as director of the Central Business Unit, with responsibility for field operations of over 550 investigators, covering 14 states. Prior to this role, he served USIS in corporate development and business development roles, originally joining the company in 2002. Mr. Shoemaker has also served as assistant secretary of transportation for the Commonwealth of Virginia and has managed government affairs for the National Air Transportation Association.
